Triangulum is a surreal landscape born from a dream, depicting a strange triangular cave hidden within an unfamiliar blue world. The cave feels almost impossible. Its sharp geometric opening contrasts with the rough, chaotic surfaces surrounding it, creating the sense that this place follows rules that exist somewhere just beyond our own. Within it rests a still reflection pool, quietly mirroring the strange world around it. There is no clear indication of what lies beyond the water, or how far the cave continues. The deeper it appears, the more questions it seems to create. Is it a passage? A destination? Something that has always been there, waiting to be found?
The scene carries a strange sense of familiarity despite having no recognizable place in the waking world. It feels less like discovering somewhere new and more like stumbling across somewhere you have been before, but cannot remember. That is what draws me to it. There is something about the cave that feels like an invitation. Not an obvious one, and not necessarily a safe one. Just a quiet pull toward the unknown, asking what might be waiting beyond the reflection pool and inside the darkness. Triangulum is an exploration of that feeling: the inexplicable attraction of a place that should not exist, yet somehow feels as though it is calling you back.
